Why Isn’t There an Easier Mobile Phone?

This was the question that sparked KISA. Created by three entrepreneurs who were struggling to find a simple mobile phone solution for their own family, KISA was the first phone of its kind, making mobile technology affordable and accessible to everyone. The inspiration for the KISA Phone happened when co- founder and CEO, Dmitry Levin experienced a family emergency. His wife’s grandfather became lost on a walk and was uncontactable. Even though he had a smartphone, he was unable to properly use it. Thankfully, a good samaritan found him and gave him a lift home.

After finding no phones on the market that did what Dmitry needed to keep his family safe, he teamed up with his friends and co-founders Dennis Volodomanov and Leon Kosher to launch KISA Phone. With their combined experience in the IT and business sector, they set out to develop a mobile phone so simple to use that it didn’t even need instructions. Built and designed for the elderly, disabled and visually impaired, all for whom modern technology presents an unnecessary challenge, the KISA Phone is also ideal for children and parents who need a simple and safe solution. KISA Phone is available to families in Australia, the United States and beyond, for anyone looking for the world’s simplest and safest mobile phone.

Dmitry Levin, CEO

Dmitry’s background is in the finance, wealth and insurance industries. Dmitry has a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Swinburne University of Technology, Melbourne, Australia and a Certificate in Management from the HSBC Academy, London.

Dennis Volodomanov, CTO

Dennis is an experienced software development and marketing specialist. Dennis holds a Master of Science in Educational Technologies from Twente University, Enschede, The Netherlands; a Bachelor of World Economics from Moscow State University of Economics, Statistics and Informatics, Russia; and a Diploma in Mathematics from the Kuwait State University, Kuwait. He is also a Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP), Microsoft Certified Solutions Developer (MCSD).

Leon Kosher CPA, CFO

Leon is a qualified accountant. He holds a Master's Degree in Accounting from Swinburne University of Technology, Melbourne, Australia and a Bachelor's Degree in Business and Management from the University of Derby, United Kingdom. He is also a Certified Practicing Accountant and a full member of CPA Australia.
